Candle in the Dark

The candle in the dark might bring fourth some light. But what use is this candle's glow if it's meant for a soulless plight. There is more to the darkness that has ever been shown. If only we can look beyond the emptiness of what is already known. Given the power of decision comes the responsibility of not knowing the outcome of choice. Still, like an ebullient child, excited to see the river, we must understand that one should have a voice. Completely stagnant in the peril of life. We must awaken and overcome strife.
